When I started working on the bike I thought it to be a bit overwhelming because there was a lot going on in it. I deconstructed most of it and pieced it back together in a simpler manner. Once I was pleased with the shape of it, I noticed that it blended in very much to the rest of the room. I wanted to give it some sort of distinct focal point so I added the yarn spewing from the open 'pipes.' Then I changed the word from mechanical to spewy.
